2009 Cricket Wireless Triple-A All-Star Game
Saturday, July 11, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. - Fan Fest presented by Portland Police Bureau Sunshine Division
The Portland Beavers announce that Dale Murphy, Johnny Pesky and Scott Brosius will lead an impressive group of Portland-area baseball greats that will appear at the All-Star Fan Fest presented by the Portland Police Bureau Sunshine Division, an event that will be held at PGE Park on Saturday, July 11, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The All-Star Fan Fest is a one-day, interactive event that will kick off a series of special activities held in conjunction with the 2009 Cricket Wireless Triple-A All-Star Game, which will take place at PGE Park on Wednesday, July 15.
Murphy, Pesky and Brosius are part of a large group of area baseball greats who will take part in a special roundtable discussion and autograph session from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on the field at PGE Park. Also scheduled to appear are former Beavers Eddie Basinski, Artie Wilson, George Freese, Ben Petrick, Tommy Sandt and Wayne Twitchell, in addition to Pete Ward, a Jefferson High School alum who played nine major league seasons.
Open to the public, the All-Star Fan Fest features music, baseball memorabilia displays, stadium tours, food and several inflatable games, including a rollercoaster obstacle course, rock wall and a speedpitch station on the field at PGE Park. Radio Disney will be onsite and will conduct two, one-hour performances.

The annual All-Star Luncheon will feature National Baseball Hall-of-Famer Dave Winfield as the keynote speaker and includes a fully catered lunch.
Wednesday, July 15, 7 p.m. - Cricket Wireless Triple-A All-Star Game
Don't miss your chance to see the next Derek Jeter, Chase Utley, or Mike Piazza (all former Triple-A All-Stars). Remember, this event won't return to Portland for another generation.

A: All Season Ticket Holders who renew their ticket packages will receive their same seats for the American Family Insurance All-Star Home Run Derby and the Cricket Wireless Triple-A All-Star Game. Season Ticket Holders will also receive tickets to Fan Fest presented by Portland Police Bureau Sunshine Division and a commemorative All-Star hat.

A: All Season Ticket Holders will have a priorty-purchase period prior to single-game tickets going on sale to the general public. Season Ticket Holders will be able to purchase a set number of additional tickets (quantity TBD). You will be notified of the dates/times of this priority-purchase period in February 2009.
